Bonjour, 

Je m’appelle Christian Helgi. Je suis musicien, photographe et filemaker franco-islandais.

Je suis multi-instrumentiste. Je joue des percussions (hang drums), guitare, piano, clarinette basse.

Je suis notamment membre du duo Kokto (www.koktomusic.com)

Propositions artistiques en échange de la résidence (oeuvres, cours, ateliers, dîner, concert...) : A l’issue de la résidence, je délivererais : 
- Un EP, c’est à dire un mini-album - Un Vidéo-clip - Une live-session, c’est à dire un concert live filmé. - Une série de photo Enfin, je peux également proposer une séance de cours / atelier / masterclass.

    I am a Georgian-Armenian songwriter, performer, singer and music director. I graduated from the music university as a jazz singer, but in my solo career I practice soul and blues singing. (I was influenced by Etta James, Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston). I write music with socio-political themes and am known for my strong live shows due to the powerful energy and my voice. I was born in Ukraine and lived for 2 years in an art residence in Paris. During this time, I worked on my mental health (repaired the damage from the war), studied screenwriting for my current project, wrote new material and in 2024 independently produced a solo concert in Paris, which was included in the Top 3 best concerts in the history of this concert venue. My residency in Paris ends on August 26, so I'm looking for an opportunity to continue working on the album in a new place.
