and new communion among Artists (Researchers, Philosophers, Teachers, Gardeners, Musicians, Performers, …) from afar – here in our humble farmhouse among the rolling hills.

The vast plein-air landscape, the farms bounty, the small village,
and school-house next door, the nearby cosmopolitan city of lakes and galleries
—all are eager to receive you and co-create.

Description de l’environnement géographique : The lake city Udaipur, known as the Venice of the east, is famous for its beautiful lakes with a backdrop of Aravali hills, one of the oldest fold mountains in the world. The romance of Rajasthan is still alive in the form of art and culture, Mewar School of art, imbued with spirituality, is still present with its eminent characteristics. The historical monuments of Mewar attract the attention of artists in both miniature and contemporary art. The majestic architecture of the City Palace is an ultimate example of Mewar art. Impressive temple architecture, with its fragrance of religious sentiments enveloping the city, inspires visiting artists to create their own masterpieces. Many miniature art and contemporary art studios and galleries can be found in Udaipur. Every day a special dance and puppet show organized by Indian culture heritage is performed at Bagor Ki Haveli. Every last Saturday of the month there is also a live drama performance. Udaipur is an enchanting location, a fascinating blend of past and present, sights, sounds and experiences and an inspiration for the imagination of artists, sculptors, musicians, dancers, poets, writers and filmmakers. Apart from the typically touristy attractions you may immerse yourself in the experience of ordinary daily life in Udaipur. At Art>

Materials, The following tools are available to our artists in your own personal Art Studio: easels, etc. for painting, tools for sculpture, wood-cut, stone carving, welding machine, drill-cutting-grinding machines, Other facilities for your use, We have a bicycle, hot water, towels, linens, Wifi, a fire pit, and more – just ask Your Room, You have several options for accommodation on the farm -- everything from tenting outdoors, to a simple eco-cottage (with personal bathroom &hot-water geyser), orour newly renovated second floor suit Social Connections / Exhibition, etc., We can arrange meeting with local creative contacts/relevant professionals such asart historians, curators, local artists, as well as curatorial supports to identify and secure materials, marketing and publicity on local press, documentation of artwork and access to local galleries and audiences.If interested, you could attend seminars and meet with the staff and students at the Faculty of Fine Arts (depending on the month).
